Dear Central Bark Clients,
Due to the increased number of fleas and mainly ticks that we have been seeing this year we are forced to create a new policy.
In the past these problems have been addressed more casually and didn’t seem to be as big of an issue.
We are, as of now, going to require that all known ticks and fleas on the animal be brought to our attention before your appointment. At our discretion we will decide what the appropriate method of treatment will be.
If we find fleas or ticks on your animal during the appointment you will be notified immediately and a fee of $35.00 will be added to your grooming bill for the flea bath and any other special handling we will need to perform, or if the problem is determined by us to be severe enough, You will be asked to remove your animal from our facility immediately and you will still be liable for the cost of the appointment.
This new rule is being put into place to protect ALL of our clients and will not be altered to accommodate anyone.
If you know of or suspect there may be ticks or fleas on your animal it is now policy that you notify us in advance in order to keep our business safe and healthy for our clients.
